CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING – PAP SMEAR

Cervical Cancer is the second most common form of cancer in women, which is why every sexually active woman age 25 or older must complete this test.

How is a PAP Test?

  • The Doctor introduces a speculum (Metal or plastic instrumnet) to separate the walls of the vagina.
  • The Doctor take the cells of the cervix using a spatula (a stick) or a cytobrush (special brush)
  • The Doctor spreads the cells taken from a glass slide.
  • The Doctorexamines the uterus and ovaries to detect abnormalities.

Women do not hesitate to carry out your PAP Test there is nothing wizard especially since the PAP Test is a prevention go in a crowd

Facts About FIBROIDS IN UTERUS
